(Effect of a buttoned placket)

A center placket with buttons is a decorative or functional line along the middle of a garment, where buttons and buttonholes are attached. It gives the clothing a finished look and highlights the design.

🔹 Step 1. Preparing the Placket Line

1. Open your project with the dress or top.

2. Go to the Details tab and select a rectangular shape.

3. Place the shape where the placket will be and stretch it along the length of the garment.

4. Enable Point Mode, and optionally turn on the model’s grid for precise placement.

5. Set the line color and make the contour darker in the Outline property to emphasize the placket.

🔹 Step 2. Creating Buttonholes

1. Go to Decor → Items.

2. Choose elements that look like button slits.

3. Arrange them along the placket line, copying as needed to get the required number.

4. If there are more than 6 elements, you can add them as a brush to speed up the process.

🔹 Step 3. Adding Buttons

1. Select suitable buttons from the Items tab.

2. Assign a color and place them over each slit.

3. Use a dark brush under each button to create shadow and volume.

🔹 Step 4. Final Shadows

1. Switch to the main layer of the dress or top.

2. Brush along the placket to add shadows, making it appear more realistic and dimensional.

✨ Result:

You will have a realistic center placket with buttons that gives the effect of a fastened front, adding depth and decorative detail to your garment.
