✨ Pin-Up Style Headband ✨
🔹 What is pin-up?
Pin-up is a style popular in the 1940s–50s, known for femininity, brightness, and playful charm. Classic pin-up looks often included fitted dresses, heels, red lipstick, and the iconic headband with a knot and playful “ears.”
🔹 What is this headband?
It’s a wide fabric band tied on top of the head with a knot. The ends (“ears”) usually stick out upwards or sideways, creating a flirty accent. Most often these headbands were polka-dotted or in bold solid colors.
🪡 Tutorial: How to Create a Pin-Up Headband in Studio
Step 1. Base
1. Open a project in the Accessories section.
2. Select the base headband shape (for example, the first in the line).

3. Switch to point mode and adjust the silhouette to look like a wide band around the head.

Step 2. Knot and “ears”
1. Go to the Details tab.
2. Add a new shape and, using point mode, form the knot on top of the head.
3. Create two more shapes for the “ears” (the ends of the band), giving them a slightly curved shape.
Step 3. Fabric and print
1. Open the Fabric tab.
2. Choose a fabric with a print (the classic choice is polka dots).

3. Apply the selected fabric to all parts of the headband: the base, knot, and “ears.”

Step 4. Shadows and highlights
1. In the Shadows tab, adjust the settings to give the band a voluminous look.

2. With a darker brush, add shading to the inner folds.

3. With a lighter brush, add highlights to the top areas for a fabric effect.

You’ll have a stylish pin-up headband with a knot, “ears,” and a fun polka-dot print. This accessory instantly adds playfulness and retro charm to the look.
