✨ Puffy Heart Appliqué — Step-by-Step Guide ✨
Want to decorate your design in Studio with something romantic? Instead of a flat print, let’s create hearts that look like little fabric appliqués sewn onto the garment.
🔹 Step 1. Base Layer with Hearts
Open your project (for example, a skirt or a top).
Select the heart-shaped brush and paint across the fabric.
Adjust scatter, size, and density so the hearts look natural and playful.

🔹 Step 2. Adding Depth
Take a soft round brush → adjust properties: opacity, softness, and size.
Paint over the center of each heart with a slightly darker tone of the base color.
This will give the hearts some depth.

🔹 Step 3. Highlights
Switch to an even softer brush and choose a light shade (pastel or white).
Add a small highlight in the top center of each heart.
Now the hearts look glossy and three-dimensional.

🔹 Step 4. Shadows Under the Hearts
Go to the main layer of the garment.
Take a dark brush and gently paint underneath the hearts to create a shadow effect.
This makes them look attached to the fabric rather than flat.

🔹 Step 5. Final Touch
Adjust the transparency of highlights and shadows.
Add a few extra hearts manually to balance the design.

✨ Result: you’ll have fabric decorated with 3D heart appliqués that look like real sewn-on details, not just a print. Perfect for romantic dresses, tops, or skirts.
