Shoulder-Baring Neckline (Off-the-Shoulder) — Step-by-Step Creation

What it is:

This neckline creates an elegant and romantic look, highlighting the collarbones and shoulders. It works well for both casual and evening outfits.

Instructions in Pocket Styler Studio

1️⃣ Open your project with the top or blouse you want to work on.

2️⃣ Shaping the neckline

Go to the main clothing layer. In Points mode, create a straight line across the top — this will be the upper line of the neckline that exposes the shoulders.

3️⃣ Hide the sleeves

Switch to the sleeve layer and set all properties to 0 so that the sleeve becomes invisible at this stage.

4️⃣ Create the upper part of the neckline

Return to the main layer → add a new shape through the Details tab. Use Points mode to form the upper part of the neckline.

5️⃣ Extend onto the sleeves

On the right sleeve layer, add another detail via Details and shape it with Points mode so that the neckline smoothly continues over the shoulders. You now have one continuous line across the top of the top.

6️⃣ Add shadows

Go to the Shadow property and draw dark lines along the lower edge of the neckline to give volume. Use a light brush to add highlights on top for a realistic light and depth effect.

7️⃣ Final adjustments

Check the overall shape of the neckline. Adjust points if needed, and refine shadows and highlights for a realistic and polished look.
