Classic Bowler Hat

(Creating a traditional hat with a brim in Pocket Styler Studio) 🎩

The classic bowler hat has a hard, rounded crown and short, curved brim. Originally a men’s style, it’s now suitable for various fashion projects and designs.

🔹 Step 1. New Project

Create a new hat project via the “Hats with Brims” tab. Choose the silhouette that best fits your project.

🔹 Step 2. Base Color and Shape

Set a gray color for the crown so you can easily draw black shadows. The hat won’t appear fully black, but shadows will stand out more.

Switch to Point Mode and adjust the crown shape until it matches the desired form.

🔹 Step 3. Shadows

Go to the Shadows tab and select the shadow style that works best for your design (like the one in the reference).

Step 4. Inner Part of the Hat

Go to the Inner Color layer (Crown Back) and set a red color so the inner part stands out.

🔹 Step 5. Crown Details

On the crown, use a black brush along the edge to enhance volume.

Then use a light gray brush in the center to emphasize depth and form.

On the inner (red) layer, add brown shadows along the edges for extra depth.

🔹 Step 6. Hat Brim

Use a black brush along the brim’s edge near the head to create a neat border.

🔹 Step 7. Hat Ribbon

Since the brim is slightly raised, add a decorative ribbon on top.

Go to Details → add a new detail and change its color to black.

Use the brush to add dark shadows along the edges and light highlights in the middle.

✨ Result:
