I’m going to show how to make a bow that ties your hair in the back. It’s something very easy and cute and is a nice finishing touch on a lot of outfits!
To start, go to accessories and pick the ‘headpiece’ template.
1. To make the bow you need a clean slate to start with, so I put everything on 0 opacity (you can do this by selecting every category of one and sliding the opacity to 0).
I only do this for one layer and then I copy it to all. Click on the paintbrush next to the layer that now has 0 opacity, then click on ‘select’ so you see ‘ALL’ appear and then click on ‘ALL’ with the paintbrush. Now every layer should be invisible.
2. Now select the layer ‘Headpiece back’ to work in. Add a blank detail square, place it where you want the bow and make it a bit bigger if needed.
3. Click on the pencil, then ‘DECOR’ and then on ‘items’. Choose a bow or item you like and click on it to add. (For the bow I picked it needed to be mirrored, you do this by dragging the yellow dot to the other side, like shown here in purple.)
And there you have it! Now you can adjust colors and make a million bows, matching every outfit you want! 😍
For the placement, you can always check on your doll in the game before publishing and then you can adjust if needed. The first time it might be a bit of a search, but once you find the perfect placement it is so fun to make so many in different colors, enjoy styling! 😉
