✨ Pencil Skirt: Style and Step-by-Step Creation ✨
(Overview and Tutorial in Pocket Styler Studio) 👗
A pencil skirt is a narrow, fitted skirt, usually knee-length or slightly below, that accentuates the silhouette. Perfect for both office and evening looks. In Studio, you can create a realistic pencil skirt with shadows, details, and decorative effects. 🧵
🔹 Step 1. Open the project and select a base skirt
Go to Studio → find the bottom clothing tab → select a regular skirt. Choose the length: mid-length or above the knee.

🔹 Step 2. Shape the silhouette
Use the point mode to adjust the skirt’s shape and fit it snugly to the figure.

🔹 Step 3. Choose fabric and pattern
Go to the Fabric tab → select the material and color. Optionally, add a pattern using the Pattern tab.

🔹 Step 4. Add shadows
1. Create a new brush layer.
2. Use a light brush to highlight areas where the fabric is raised or lit.
3. Use a dark brush to add deep shadows on the sides and folds to emphasize volume.
🔹 Step 5. Decor and highlights
Go to the Decor tab → Folds and select highlights offered by the program. Apply those that suit your design.

🔹 Step 6. Bottom hem of the skirt
Go over the bottom of the skirt to create the appearance of dense fabric, as if the seam is stitched with thread.
🔹 Step 7. Belt (optional)
Create a new form at the top of the skirt and draw a belt to complete the look.

✨ Result:
A realistic pencil skirt with light and dark shadow accents, a neatly finished hem, and an optional belt.
