Distressed Denim Effect ✨

(Example: the knee area) 👖

Want to make your jeans look more realistic and give them that “worn-in” vibe? Here’s a step-by-step guide in Pocket Styler Studio. 🧵

🔹 Step 1. Set the material

Choose a denim fabric and the right shade of blue for your base layer.

🔹 Step 2. Create the first brush layer (shadows)

Select a medium-sized brush with soft edges.

🔹 Step 3. Add highlights

Create a second brush layer.

With a light blue or grayish-blue color, paint the areas where fabric usually fades.

Use a slightly diffused brush so the highlights look natural.

🔹 Step 4. Refine the distressed look

Add a third brush layer with a small, hard-edged brush.

Using white or a very light shade, draw small strokes and dots in high-wear areas (like the knees) to imitate fabric fibers.

✨ The result: jeans with a natural worn effect — soft gradients, gentle highlights, and realistic distressed details.
