Creating a Chain Handle on a Bag Using the Items Tab
I want to show how I create a realistic chain handle for a bag in Pocket Styler Studio using the Items tab and details.
👜 Steps:
1. Select the bag’s handle layer
I open the project and find the bag layer named “handles.” I set all parameters — outline, shadow, fabric, highlights — to zero so nothing interferes.
2. Add an empty detail
I go to the Details tab and add a new transparent detail — this will be the base for the chain.
3. Choose a chain from the Items tab
I open the Items tab where various decorative elements and chains are located. I select the desired chain and place it on the transparent detail I created.
4. Adjust size and color
I adjust the chain size to fit the bag perfectly and choose the right color.
5. Create a second detail with the chain
I add another transparent detail like the first one and place the same chain on it with the same color.
6. Refine the edges of the details
Using Dot mode, I carefully trim the edges of both details so the chains don’t overlap and create a volumetric effect.
✨ The result is a realistic chain handle made from two chains that together look like one volumetric and beautiful handle for the bag.
📌 This method is convenient if you want to add detail and make your bag look more impressive and realistic.
