Glow Dots: Manual Highlighting Trick

Want to add a touch of magic to your outfit?
Today I’m showing you a simple yet powerful technique — manual highlighting with glow dots.
It works beautifully on most fabrics and especially shines on dark or matte surfaces 🌒
📌 Step 1. Prepare the Layer
Go to the Layers tab
→ Select the clothing part you want to decorate
→ Add a new Brush to that layer.
🎯 Step 2. Place the Dots
Choose a basic brush.
Pick a color that matches your base — either the main fabric tone or a slightly darker one.
Now manually place the dots along edges, folds, or central accents.
This creates the base of your glow effect ✏️
Step 3. Add the Glow
Add a second brush on the same layer.
Pick a pale shade — white, light pink, icy blue, or soft gold, depending on your color palette.
Now lightly tap right in the center of each dark dot with the bright brush.
You’ll get a glow effect, like the fabric is softly lit from within 🔆
💡 How to Use It:
— Highlight the hem of a dress or sleeves
— Illuminate corset edges or bustlines
— Cover the whole item in glow dots for a magical or futuristic look
— Create the illusion of glitter, drops, or even stars ✨
Tips:
✔ Set brush opacity around 30–60% for a soft glow
✔ Keep dot placement intentional — along lines or in symmetry
✔ Try different brush sizes for variation
