Using Decor to Decorate a Bag

Studio has all sorts of fun details that you can add to bags to make them more interesting. Let’s look at a few examples. I’m going to start with a bag I made for an earlier post about shading bags:

Then I’m going to add an “invisible square” to the bottom part. Decor items can only be added to a piece of the bag. So if you want to go outside of the lines, you need to add the “invisible square,” this will allow you to add hanging straps and other details. To find the “invisible square,” start in the “Lower Part” on the right, because we want the details to go below the upper part. Then go to the tee shirt icon on the left, “Details,” then look for the dotted box in the second row on the righ

Stretch the invisible box to be larger than the bag and cover any area where you may add details.

Now we can add details within the square! Go to the pencil icon on the upper left, then to “Decor” and “Items.” First we’ll select some chain details to make a chain strap hanging down from the bag.

When you select a chain detail you like, pick the colors to give it a metallic finish. Then you can copy the chain to add more pieces by clicking on the double box item next to “Item 1.” Here I’ll copy it twice to link chains together to make a small strap. Use the circle arrow to spin the item around and place it where it will give the right look.

Finally you can try other details to give your bag an original look. Add whatever details you like to the invisible square, experiment with different ideas to see what looks you like best!

There are a ton of details to play around with, have fun designing something unique!
