To create a belt using shapes, first select the belt template from “new design”.

Alternatively, you can use the same technique to craft a belt onto any clothing item.

1. Once opened, navigate to the left, back right strap. Set all properties to zero, do the same for the “back”.

If you are adding a belt to pants -> select hips

2. Select the left or right strap. You will create the entire belt under this one layer.

3. Select “right” (or left depending on which you choose) strap details. This is the layer your belt will be created.

3. Navigate to details and select the shape of your choosing.

5. Shape the now placed “shape” to your liking. Turn on guidelines for better placement, especially if you’re adding a belt to clothing. Guidelines can be toggled on under “Model”.

6. With the shape layer still selected, change the color to your liking. Add shading and glare to add realism. I like the add a bit of shading “under” and on top of the belt as well.

7. To add a buckle detail. Select “hips”. Add the transparent square -> navigate to decor -> select the buckle or any other item you plan to use. Make sure the “item” is on top of the layer.

8. Export to game and publish!
