👗 How to Make a Sleek White Dress in Pocket Styler Studio – Step-by-Step
This guide will help you recreate a high-neck, fitted white dress with a modern cut-out, just like the one in your image.
✅ Step 1: Open the Dress Template
Log into Pocket Styler Studio.
Choose the “Dresses” category to start with the correct body template.
The blank mannequin will appear on the screen for you to start designing.
✏️ Step 2: Draw the Base Shape of the Dress
Use the drawing/shape tool to sketch a tight, body-hugging silhouette.
Draw the outline so it:
Covers the neck completely (high-neck style).
Shows a shoulder cut-out (remove a curved section on one shoulder).
Ends above the knees for a clean, elegant length.
Make sure the lines are smooth and symmetrical on both sides.
🎨 Step 3: Fill in the Base Color
Choose a bright, clean white from the color palette.
Fill the entire dress shape evenly.
Avoid patterns—this design is minimalist and relies on the silhouette, not print.
🌟 Step 4: Add Highlights and Shadows
To give your dress depth and a realistic look:
Use a light gray or soft white to add subtle highlights on areas like:
The chest
Hips
Upper thigh
Use a slightly darker shade of white or soft gray to add shadows along:
Side seams
Under the bust
Inside the cut-out
Blend smoothly to avoid harsh lines—this makes the fabric look more natural and 3D.
🧵 Step 5: Add Details (Optional)
This design is clean, but if you’d like to, you can:
Add a faint seam line at the waist or sides.
Include a zipper or button line on the back (if the back is visible).
Don’t overdo details—it’s meant to stay sleek and minimal.
👠 Step 6: Test the Dress
Use the preview tool to see how the dress looks on the avatar.
Make sure:
The cut-out lines up with the shoulder properly.
The dress doesn’t glitch with arms or hair.
The shading looks good when the avatar poses.
📤 Step 7: Save and Upload
Click “Send to Pocket Styler” when you’re finished.
Give your dress a name (e.g., Modern Elegance, Chic Cut-Out).
Once approved, players will be able to style with it in challenges!
💡 Tips:
Zoom in while shading for more control.
Try using reference photos of real dresses to help with proportions.
Keep your layers organized if the Studio allows layering.
