Many times we see cute PS official items, but wish we had a matching top, hat, shoe etc. Creating, or recoloring, an item in studio to match is fairly simple.

1. Screenshot the item and upload it to any website that locates color codes. Use the picker to locate the color.

2. Use the generated color code and apply it to the item of your choice (by using the color wheel) in studio. Make sure it the “fabric” tab.

3. Navigate to the “shadow” and switch the tab from “auto” to “custom”. The color will turn red. Change the color to the previously used color code.

4. Once changed, use the color wheel and find a color that is a bit darker to serve as the shadow.

5. Do the same for the glare, except use a lighter color.

You may need to export your item to the game a few times to see how it pairs with the Official Game Item. If you need to change any of the colors, remove from store -> delete from game -> edit in studio (it will no longer say exported) -> export to game -> publish.
