✂️ How to Use the Edge Tool in Pocket Styler Studio
The Edge tool is located under the Details tab. It allows you to add clean outlines or decorative trims along the edges of your garment — giving your design a polished and stylish look.
📌 How to add an edge:
1. Go to Details → Edge
On the left-side toolbar, click Details, then choose Edge.
2. Click “Add New Edge”
The selected part of the garment will show as an outline of points.
🔸 Click the yellow point to start the edge.
🔸 Click along other points to extend the line.
🔸 When done, click the checkmark at the top to confirm.
3. Customize edge style, color, and thickness
On the right panel, you can:
🔸 Choose an edge style (solid, dashed, etc.)
🔸 Pick a color that matches or contrasts the fabric
🔸 Adjust the thickness
💡 Tip: using a slightly lighter or darker color than the fabric adds dimension.
4. (Optional) Soften the transitions
Use a brush with lower opacity to paint soft gradients near the edge for a smoother look.
5. Preview in animation
Use the play button (bottom right) to see how the edge looks in motion.
6. Save your project
Once satisfied with the result, click Save
💡 Why use an edge?
✔ Makes the clothing look more finished and high-quality
✔ Adds the effect of stitching, depth, or trim
✔ Highlights key parts of the design — like hems, waistbands, or sleeves
