🎨 Crushed Fabric Effect in Pocket Styler Studio

Crushed fabric — a textured material with natural folds and wrinkles that adds volume, movement, and visual interest to garments. It is commonly used for skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories to create dynamic, lively designs.

🔹 Step 1. Base preparation

1. Open your project where you want to apply the crushed fabric effect.

2. Choose the garment or accessory layer to work on.

🔹 Step 2. Creating texture manually

1. Take a small brush (size ~1) and draw random, chaotic lines across the surface of the fabric to mimic the natural folds.

2. Switch to a lighter brush color with lower opacity and follow the previously drawn lines to add subtle highlights.

3. Repeat with slight variations along different lines to create depth and dimension.

🔹 Step 3. Enhancing shadows

1. Use a dark-colored brush with low opacity to emphasize shadows along the folds and intersections.

2. Adjust intensity for some lines to create areas with deeper or softer folds.

3. Optionally, use a larger brush with very low opacity to add subtle depressions for a more realistic crushed effect.

🔹 Step 4. Optional detailing

1. Add thin, sharper lines in selected areas for extra texture and definition.

2. Balance highlights and shadows to maintain a natural, lively look.

✨ Result

Your garment will now have a realistic crushed fabric texture, perfect for adding movement and a sophisticated, tactile effect to your design.
