Lifehack: How and Where to Design Sandals with High Elements in Studio
Sandals with straps, mesh, or knee-high bands look very striking, but the standard shoe project has height limitations.
💡 Tip: If you want to create a tall element (straps, ribbons, mesh), open the project through Nightlife Shoes. This allows you to correctly add elements above the standard shoe base level.
Here’s how we usually design sandals: we open Studio and start a regular shoe project Lifted shoes.
In the next image, you can see how I created sandals using this window.
If I want to add a tall decorative element to these sandals, we usually go to the Details tab and add a shape. But as shown in the next image, this project has height restrictions for added shapes.
🔹 Lifehack: Create the project through Nigh lifted shoes. Here, you can select the lowest shoe base and use the Point Mode to shape the height of the sandals.
In the next image, you can see how I add an empty shape, and now its height can be extended almost above the knee.
