✨ Woven Effect in Pocket Styler Studio ✨

(Hand-drawn 3D weaving or “basket” effect)

The woven effect mimics a surface where elements seem to interlace with each other, creating depth and texture. It can be used for:

Knitted hats and dense knitwear.

Bags, baskets, beach accessories.

Voluminous decorative elements and clothing details.

This effect is perfect when you want to create a realistic sense of texture and volume manually, without using pre-made patterns.

🔹 Step 1. Project Preparation

1. Open the project for the element where you want to apply the effect (hat, bag, decorative panel).

2. Select the layer where the effect will be drawn.

🔹 Step 2. Drawing the “bricks”

1. Use lines to draw the first horizontal stripe, then add vertical strokes between them to create small “bricks.”

2. Add a second horizontal line above, offset from the first, and draw “bricks” between the lines — creating the interlaced effect.

3. Continue this method across the surface to form a dense woven pattern.

🔹 Step 3. Volume and curvature

1. Choose a dark brush color and trace along the “brick” lines, adding curves to create the illusion of waves and depth.

2. Work across the entire surface, giving each element volume.

🔹 Step 4. Light and shadow

1. Use a soft brush to darken the edges of the “bricks,” creating shadows between elements.

2. Add highlights with a light brush on the raised areas to enhance volume and texture.

🔹 Step 5. Final touches

1. Go over the whole surface with brushes, emphasizing curves, highlights, and shadows.

2. Add extra details if needed for more realism.

✨ Result:

You will get a realistic woven effect that gives a sense of depth, texture, and movement. This technique is versatile: it can be used for hats, bags, decorative panels, or any element where a hand-crafted effect is desired.
