Backwards Cap in Pocket Styler Studio

(Creating a cap with a backward visor and decorative stripes)

Before creating this type of cap, it’s important to consider certain Studio nuances: choose layers, shapes, colors correctly, and control light and shadow. This ensures a neat and realistic look.

🔹 Step 1. Creating the base of the cap

1. Open your hat project.

2. For the top, select the 3rd option in the first row.

3. Switch to Point Mode and shape the front part of the cap. Enable the grid for convenience.

🔹 Step 2. Creating the visor

1. Go to the Crown back layer.

2. In the Details tab, add a shape and use Point Mode to create the visor positioned behind the hair.

3. Go to the Shadows tab and select a suitable shadow.

4. Set the cap color for the entire surface, including the inside.

🔹 Step 3. Decorative stripe on the crown

1. Select the crown layer, click Details, and choose a long rectangle.

2. Add it to the project and shape it with Point Mode to form a stripe at the front of the cap.

3. Assign a color that matches the main fabric.

4. If needed, adjust the edge color in the Edge tab.

🔹 Step 4. Additional decorative lines

1. Add 2 more lines on top of the cap using the Details tab.

2. Assign them fabric and color matching the main material.

3. Add edges along the bottom of the cap and visor via the Edge tab.

4. Choose the suitable edge color, style, and thickness.

🔹 Step 5. Light and shadow

1. Use a light brush to add highlights to the fabric.

2. Use a dark brush to create shadows on the visor and crown for volume.

3. Continue refining with brushes until the cap looks complete and expressive.

✨ Result:

You will have a detailed backwards cap with decorative stripes and neat shadows — ready for any look or Studio project.
