🔹 What is a Breton Hat?
A Breton hat is a women’s hat with a rounded crown and small, slightly curved brim. It became popular in France, especially in Brittany, and is considered an elegant accessory in both nautical and classic styles. It is often decorated with ribbons, chains, or small accessories.
🔹 Step 1. Creating the base
1. In your project, open the Accessories tab.
2. For the crown, choose the 3rd option from the first line.
3. For the brim, choose the last option from the last line.
🔹 Step 2. Adding the ribbon
1. Go to the Details tab.
2. Add a shape and use the point mode to form a ribbon around the crown.
🔹 Step 3. Fabric and color setup
1. Apply a fabric and color to the hat.
2. Give the ribbon its own color and fabric to make it stand out.
🔹 Step 4. Crown shadows
1. Go to the Shadows tab and select a suitable shadow from the options.
2. Adjust its properties so the crown looks natural and voluminous.
🔹 Step 5. Light and shadow effects
1. Use a dark brush on the brim to create depth and shadow.
2. Add shadows on the crown sides and under the ribbon.
3. Use a light brush to highlight the edges of the brim and the top of the crown.
🔹 Step 6. Decoration
1. Go to the Decor tab.
2. Add a chain or any other detail to complete the look.
