✨ How to Create a Fur Top with Brushes ✨

(A simple way to paint a fur texture in Studio)
A fur top is a striking fashion piece that adds luxury and volume to a look. In Studio, you can manually create a fluffy fur texture using brushes.
🔹 Step 1. Preparing the Base
1. Open your project and shape the top in Point Mode.
2. Assign a base color.

3. In Shadow properties, set all parameters to 0.
🔹 Step 2. Preparing the Fur Layer
1. Go to the Details tab and stretch an empty shape over the entire top.
2. This is the layer where we’ll paint the fur.
🔹 Step 3. Base Layer of Fur
1. Select a brush with “spikes” (for example, something like a snowflake).
2. Use a dark color to paint shadow zones (sides, under the bust, edges).
3. Use a light color for the central areas and highlights.
4. Adjust brush size and opacity, covering the entire top so that the fur doesn’t look flat but has depth with light and dark areas.
🔹 Step 4. Detailing the Fur Strands
1. Take a regular thin brush.
Opacity = maximum
Size = minimum (1).
2. Draw short strokes across the whole top to imitate fur strands.
Darker strokes for shaded areas.
Lighter strokes for highlight zones.
3. To enhance depth, softly add darker strokes in some areas for contrast.
✨ Result:
You’ll get a fur-textured top created by hand. The secret is combining the “snowflake” brush for the base and thin strokes for the strands. You can experiment with colors: classic white or black, or bright shades for more creative looks.
