✨ How to Create a Quilted Effect with Squares on Fabric in Pocket Styler Studio ✨
(The effect of “raised” fabric squares)
The quilted square effect creates the look of a textured, padded fabric, as if it were stitched. This technique makes the item appear more refined and decorative. It works perfectly for bags, jackets, vests, or any other clothing element.
🔹 Step 1. Preparing the Fabric
Open the project with the item you want to decorate.
Select the fabric layer you’ll be working on.
Set a base fabric color — for example, red, blue, or any other of your choice.

🔹 Step 2. Creating the Stitch Grid
Use a brush to draw the lines that will form the base of the “squares.”
Horizontal and vertical lines crossing → create squares.

🔹 Step 3. Adding Volume with Brushes
1. Choose a medium-hardness brush.
2. Use a darker brush along the bottom edge of each square to create shadow.

3. Use a lighter brush along the top edge to add highlights.

🔹 Step 4. Adjustment and Repetition
If the squares look too flat, add extra light shadows and highlights along the diagonals.
You can make the quilted effect denser or looser by duplicating and resizing the grid.
🔹 Step 5. Final Details
Brush along the fabric edges so the effect looks natural.
Make sure the highlights and shadows are evenly distributed so the fabric appears “alive.”

✨ Result:
You’ll get a fabric with a realistic quilted square effect, giving it volume and a decorative look.
