✨ Creating a Belt on Bottom Wear in Studio ✨
(Example: pants or skirt)
Sometimes an outfit needs just a little detail to look complete. Let’s add a belt to the bottom part of clothing using the Details tab.
🔹 Step 1. Base Shapes
Open the Details tab and choose the shapes for the belt — it consists of two parts: the left and right sides.
Switch to Point Mode and adjust the shapes so the belt fits symmetrically on the model.

🔹 Step 2. Color and Fabric
Set the color of the belt. You can either:
copy the fabric from the skirt/pants,
or choose a completely different texture, color, or material.
After applying the fabric to one belt part, copy it to the other.
🔹 Step 3. Edge (Hemline)
By default, the belt has a hem. Go to the Edge tab and adjust it as you like.
(For example, change it to a simple straight line.)

Step 4. Buckle
First, go to the Details tab and add an empty shape.
Then, go to Decor → Items, select the appropriate buckle, and place it in the center.

🔹 Step 5. Shadows and Highlights
On the belt layer: use a soft brush with a darker color to add shadows, and a lighter tone for highlights. This will give the fabric more depth.

On the buckle: reduce excess shine if needed. Use a soft brush to add subtle shading so it looks natural.

🔹 Step 6. Final Touch
If the buckle protrudes too much visually, refine its blending with the belt by adding soft shading around it.
