Raw Hem Jeans: Unfinished Edge Effect 👖

What it is:

Raw Hem refers to an unfinished edge on jeans, giving a frayed, slightly worn look. This technique adds a stylish, trendy, and slightly “carefree” vibe to denim.

Where to use it:

  • On full-length or cropped jeans
  • On denim shorts
  • On denim skirts
  • For casual or boho-inspired outfits

🔹 Step 1. Select the layer

Go to the denim layer where you want to create the raw hem effect.

🔹 Step 2. Create the base shape

Go to Details → Empty Shape. This shape will serve as the base for your frayed edge.

🔹 Step 3. Decorate using Items

1. Open Decor → Items.

2. Find the frayed/strand element you want to use.

3. Place the elements along the bottom edge of the jeans as needed.

🔹 Step 4. Adjust the elements

  • Change the color to match the denim fabric
  • Adjust the size
  • Distribute evenly along the edge

💡 After completing these steps, your jeans will have a realistic raw hem effect.

✨ Result:

Jeans with a fashionable raw hem, looking natural and stylish—perfect for any casual outfit.
