🧢 Creating a Cap in Pocket Styler Studio

Want to try making a basic cap? Here’s a simple way using the Crown and Brim tabs.

🧵 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Create a new project

On the main screen, select the picture labeled Brimmed Hat.

2️⃣ Choose the shape

In the Crown tab, pick the shape for the cap top. I chose a rounded one.

In the Brim tab, select the visor.

3️⃣ Edit the points

Switch to point-editing mode for both the crown and the brim. Adjust the shape with points until you get the look you want.

4️⃣ Pick material and color

Go to the Color tab and select Cotton as the fabric.

For the base, I made the cap black cotton.

5️⃣ Add details and accents

Apply a second color to the brim if you want (lighter or contrasting).

Use shadows to emphasize depth.

Add highlights with a light brush to make the cap look dimensional.

✨ Tip:

The contrast between shadows and highlights makes even a simple black cap look realistic and “alive.” Try adding soft light strokes on the crown and visor for a natural effect.
