When looking for a template to make some flats, first guess would be to use the templates under “flat shoes.” But the simplest flats are actually under the “lifted shoes” category!
Once in “lifted shoes,” go to the tee shirt icon and “silhouette.” Select the first template for “Upper.” Then under “Sole” select the second option, which is a flat sole.
This will get you started with a simple slip on flat! Click on “Select All” on the right to make changes to all parts at once. Then you can select the color and fabric. I’m going to pick black and leather.
I want to add a pattern, but only to the outside, not the sole or inside of the shoe. So I’m going to click “Select All,” but then I’ll de-select everything but “Right Upper” and “Left Upper.”
Then I’m going to go to the fabric icon on the left and “Pattern” to select a pattern for the shoes.
Here I selected an animal print, but I’d like to make the pattern smaller. So under “Selected Patterns” on the right I’m going to select “Transform.” Then you can make the square that pops up smaller to change the size of the pattern.
And what we have created is a very simple, animal print flat!
