🎩 How I Create a Hatband in Pocket Styler Studio
I want to share how I make a hatband — that thin strip that wraps around the crown of a hat. It really helps to add style and completeness, making the design more detailed and realistic.
🪄 My Step-by-Step Process to Create a Hatband in Studio:
1. First, I open my hat project and select the crown layer — the main body of the hat.
2. Then I go to the Details tab and add a new detail.
3. Using Dot mode, I carefully shape a thin strip that will be the band around the crown.
4. Next, I pick the fabric and color for the band — I like to use leather, satin, or suede to give the band the right style.
5. Sometimes I add patterns or textures to make the band more interesting and unique.
6. To make the band look volumetric, I add shadows and highlights using brushes and the Shadow tab.
7. For realism, I paint a light line on top of the band with a brush, and set a dark, solid outline — this gives the band expression and depth.
8. Finally, I adjust the shape and position of the band so everything looks perfect and harmonious with the rest of the hat design.
✨ That’s how I create a stylish hatband — a simple trick that greatly improves the overall look and makes the hat unique.
