Creating the “back” of a top

With some shirt templates, you are limited when it comes to manipulating the neckline, armhole and bottom back of the shirt.

In most cases it isn’t a big deal, but for some designs it can add realism, overall improve your item or is the style of the top! There’s a quick fix to adding the back of the neckline, armhole or bottom.

1. Click the layer you’d like to add a back to. For this shirt, I don’t have a back at all, but want to add one realism.

2. For placement I selected the “neckline back”. From there I placed a “shape” from the details tab.

3. Once place, I shaped it to the style of the shirt and changed the color (I ended up changing the shirt color too)

This is extremely useful when designing high low tops, draping or cape details!

Fin!
