🖌 Brush Tab in Studio: How It Works and What It’s For

The Brush is one of the most versatile tools in Pocket Styler Studio.

It lets you manually add shadows, ✨highlights, textures, 💎sequins, 💠rhinestones, or even simulate shiny plastic and fabric draping — all depending on the selected brush shape and its settings.

📍 Where to Find the Brush Tab

1️⃣ In the top left panel, tap Drawing Tools → then select the Brush tab.

2️⃣ At the top of the window, you’ll see the current brush shape preview — tap it to choose a different one.

💡 When you pick a new brush shape, the Color Picker automatically opens so you can set the desired color.

🎨 Brush Types & Settings

Studio offers different brush templates, each with its own settings and best use cases:

🔹 1. Classic Brush (soft/hard edge, square, etc.)

📌 Best for: shading, ✨highlights, fabric texture, smooth transitions

Parameters:

📏 Size: brush width (1–100+)

▪ Fine details – 1–10

▪ Shadows, highlights – 10–30

▪ Backgrounds or large fills – 40+

🌀 Hardness: edge sharpness

▪ 0% – soft airbrush look

▪ 100% – crisp outline

🔁 Spacing: stroke density

▪ 1% – continuous line

▪ 20–50% – textured line

🌫 Opacity: transparency level

▪ 100% – solid

▪ 10–30% – subtle shading

💧 Flow: stroke reaction to speed (affects thickness & opacity)

🖌 Great for soft shadows, light blends, and smooth gradients.

✴️ 2. Decorative Brushes (stars, dots, sparkles, etc.)

📌 Best for: 💫sequins, ✨glitter, or sparkling accents

Parameters:

📏 Size: shape size

🔀 Scatter: randomness in placement

🔁 Spacing: distance between shapes

🌫 Opacity: transparency

💧 Flow: affects size/brightness based on speed

💡 Perfect for adding sparkle to eveningwear, glam looks, or bold accents.

🔺 3. Dynamic Shape Brushes (directional flow)

📌 Best for: simulating fabric in motion, fur, stitches, threads, flowing lines

Parameters:

📏 Size: line width

🎯 Angle: orientation with stroke direction

🔁 Spacing: element repetition

🌫 Opacity: layer transparenc

💧 Flow: modifies shape and stroke weight

💡 Some brushes (like 💖hearts, vertical dots) change with movement and can create flowing textures or directional patterns.

➕ Extra Tips:

🧪 Always test settings on a helper layer — it’s your safe space for experiments.

🎭 Mix different brush shapes and colors to create unique textures and visual effects.

🎨 Use brushes to enhance mood:

▪ soft shadows for realism

▪ sparkles for glam

▪ motion lines for drama

🔧 Experiment — that’s the power of the Brush!

It’s not just a tool — it’s how you hand-craft the tiny ✨details that bring your designs to life.
