🖤 Add Depth: How to Use Shadows Right

Want your designs in Studio to look more realistic and 3D? Use shadows not just for effect — but as a creative tool!

💡 1. Where to find Shadows

Open the layer you want → choose the Shadow property → activate it.

🎨 2. Adjust color and opacity

— Black = classic shadow

— Gray = soft, realistic feel

— Colored = creative touch, great for neon looks

Control opacity to let the fabric texture show through.

✍️ 3. Layers & direction

— Add shadows on waist or hip layers to separate garment parts

— Shadow at the bottom of a dress = sense of weight and fabric

— Keep a consistent light direction across the whole outfit — it brings harmony.

📐 4. Combine with Highlights & Brushes

— Light from above = shadow below

— Use shadow + highlight on the same detail to make it pop

📌 Tips:

— Don’t make all shadows identical

— Look at real fashion photos — where do shadows naturally fall?
