In the latest update, Studio added two frayed edge options to its “Decor.” To use them, first you need to add an invisible square over your item. This will allow you to add Decor that extends beyond the edge of the item.

To add an invisible square, go to the Tee Shirt icon on the top left, select “Details,” and pick the dotted box in the second row.

Enlarge and move the box to cover the edge of the item where you want to add fray.

Next click on the pencil icon on the upper left, select “Decor” > “Items.” Towards the bottom of the Items are two frayed edge options. Choose one and it will add it into the invisible square. Select the colors to match your item and move to the edge where you want the edge.

As another option, the “Holes” in Decor can be used as a frayed edge with a little editing.

Select one of the options in “Holes” to add it to the invisible square.

Move the hole to align with the edge of the item, and change the colors to match.

Now you can use the invisible square to cut out any of the hole that you want to exclude. Like the top or any other item, you can add “points” to the invisible square to allow you to change the shape. Use the points to cut the excess hole out of the range of the invisible square.

Now you have different options to choose which fray effect you like best!
