🖌️ How to Copy a Pattern as a Brush Layer and Edit It Freely

In Pocket Styler Studio, you can do more than just apply a pattern — you can copy it as a brush layer and gain full control over its transformation and editing. It works similarly to Photoshop: you get a new editable layer.

🔧 How to do it:

1. Apply a pattern to your garment.

2. Go to the Layers tab.

3. Right-click on the Pattern property in the layer.

4. Select Copy as Brush  from the menu.

5. A new Brush layer will appear in your layer list.

🎨 What you can do with the new layer:

Transform it — scale, rotate, stretch.

Change its color independently of the original pattern.

Erase parts using the eraser.

Draw or extend the pattern using the pencil tool.

Edit freely without affecting other layers.

💡 Good to know:

  • Only brush layers allow painting and erasing.
  • Original Pattern layers can only be transformed and recolored — no free drawing.

🎯 Use this method to create advanced textures, highlight garment areas, or apply patterns with precision.
