🎨 How to Manually Transform a Pattern
Patterns in Studio aren’t just images — they’re flexible design tools! You can reposition, resize, and rotate them to achieve a more realistic look and fit your creative vision.
🔧 How to start transforming:
1. Select a garment and apply a pattern.
2. Go to the Layers tab.
3. Tap the three dots (⋮) next to the pattern layer.
4. Choose Transform.
📦 What can be changed:
White squares — scale the pattern (make it smaller/larger).
Yellow circles — stretch or compress the pattern vertically or horizontally.
Rotating arrow — rotate the pattern.
Color palette icon — switch between available color options.
🎯 Good to know:
Some patterns have just 1 color available, others offer up to 3.
After transformation, use the paintbrush tool (Clone Style) to apply the same look to other parts of the garment for a cohesive design.
💡 Tip:
Try rotating and scaling your pattern to follow the shape of the body — this works especially well with fur, shimmer fabrics, stripes, and plaids!
