Hello everyone!
We all have the same patterns to work with in Pocket Styler Studio, but there are so many customization options that allow us to also make our own patterns, if we wish!
This short guide will give you an idea of how to make your own shapes to create your own pattern.
I wanted to make a daisy, so I started by adding a “details” and picked the circle shape.
I then clicked “points and lines” so that I could change the shape.
To create the daisy, I’m going to have to add several points so that I can form the flower petals and create the shape I want. You can see that I used a total of 12 points to make the daisies.
I tried to keep them mostly evenly spaced, but that part doesn’t matter as much as you will be able to manipulate the shape to your liking later on.
I then took every other point and brought it towards the middle. It’s not completely perfect, but you can continue manipulating the points to create the shape you want. For this daisy, I want enough space in the middle so I can add a second circle detail to create the inner part of the flower.
If you are creating small shapes like this, it is also helpful to click “small points” so it is easier to see the shape you are creating.
I also added a second new detail so I can better visualize the flower and how I want the petal shapes to look.
Now that I have the flower shape I want, I change the colors to my liking.
I also duplicate the detail so I have multiple to work with.
The downside is that for each part of the garment you are creating, you will have to craft the shape because you cannot copy the same detail into other parts of the shoe or clothing. So in total, I had to create four flower shapes for this shoe, one for each upper shoe part and one for each lower shoe segment. Then I played with the sizes and arrangement to create my overall flower child rain boots.
