👗 How to make a SKIRT in Pocket Styler Designer Studio – step by step:
✅ Step 1: Enter Designer Studio
• Open the Pocket Styler application.
• Click on “Studio” or “Create” (pen/sewing machine icon).
• Select the “Create New Item” option.
• Select “Bottom” from the list of clothing items.
• Choose “Skirt” from the offered options.
📝 If you don’t see a classic skirt, you can take the closest shape and adapt it (eg longer skirt, mini or layered skirt).
✅ Step 2: Shape the skirt
You enter the design editor:
• Click on the skirt > “Edit Shape” (or “Customize Shape”).
• Move the cut points to:
• Shorten (for a mini skirt)
• Extension (for maxi/midi)
• Spread (for A-cut, bell-shaped, pleated)
• Narrow (for pencil skirt)
🎯 Examples of shapes:
• Mini – short, narrow or A-line, mid-thigh.
• Midi – to the knee, it can be straight or fluffy.
• Maxi – long, straight or mermaid cut.
💡 Tip: If you want to make a “slit” (slit), move the points on one side slightly inwards – a gap in the cut is simulated.
✅ Step 3: Choose colors and textures
• Click on “Colors” or “Textures”.
• Choose between:
• Monochromatic shades (neutral, pastel, bright)
• Materials (leather, denim, silk, satin, tulle)
• Prints (animal, floral, geometry)
🎨 Examples:
• Leather mini skirt: black color + shiny texture
• Boho maxi skirt: floral print + fluffy texture
• Formal pencil skirt: dark color + smooth texture
✅ Step 4: Add details
• Click on “Add-ons” (or “Decorate”).
• Add:
• Belt or decorative ribbons
• Buttons, zippers
• Prints, beads, seams
• Position, rotate and scale plugins as you wish.
🧵 Tip: A belt can visually narrow the waist and give shape. The buttons add a touch of realism.
✅ Step 5: Name, tag and post the skirt
• Click “Save” or “Publish”.
• Give the skirt a name (eg “Crimson Edge”, “Urban Flow”, “Serenity Skirt”).
• Add tags: #StreetStyle #Classy #Boho #NightOut
• Post it on your profile or in the Shop, if you are a designer.
